Now or never

This seems like a good moment to ask for some help.

As you know, my Marathon training is tied to the Alzheimer’s Association, NYC Chapter, and I am required (and want!) to raise $3,000 for the organization to secure my bib.

I have been involved with the Alzheimer’s Association since I moved to New York in 2002, when my grandmother was still alive and I wanted to do something for her even though I couldn’t be near her. This organization provides extraordinary services to New Yorkers living with and dealing with Alzheimer’s, most of which are free of charge. The money we raise through the Marathon program supports these services. Last year, we were also able to fund two research projects. Research is huge, for me – I want to see the end of this disease in my lifetime. I’m sure you do too.

So, I would be extremely grateful if you could make a donation on my Marathon page. Any amount, however large or small, makes a difference. Even $5 will help us get there.

Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity. We appreciate it. And maybe someday soon we can all enjoy a world without Alzheimer’s.
